Short version
Your watchlist and radars are stored in your own browser's localStorage — never uploaded to our servers. We collect minimal anonymous usage data (page views, eBay link clicks) to understand how the tool is used. No accounts, no emails, no personal data.
The following data is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorageand never sent to AuctionEye's servers:
Clearing your browser data or localStorage removes all of this. There is no server-side backup.
AuctionEye logs minimal, anonymous events to our own database (MongoDB) to understand usage:
These events contain no personal identifiers — no IP address (not stored), no user ID, no cookies, no device fingerprint. Events include a timestamp, event type, and item/keyword metadata only.
eBay Browse API— AuctionEye fetches auction data from eBay's servers. Your IP address may be visible to eBay as part of those API requests, subject to eBay's Privacy Policy.
eBay Partner Network— eBay may set cookies when you click a listing link. This is governed by eBay's own cookie and privacy policies.
Google Fonts— font files are loaded from Google's servers. Google's privacy policy applies.
AuctionEye does not set first-party cookies for general visitors. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies. An authentication cookie is used only for site administrators when accessing the admin panel. eBay may set cookies when you follow a listing link — see eBay's cookie policy for details.
Because we store no personal data on our servers, there is nothing to request, export, or delete from our end. To remove your local data, clear your browser's localStorage for this site.
